Presentation of Presencio

The municipality of Presencio (213 inhabitants in 2009; 3,535 ha) is located in the west of Burgos Province, 30 km of Burgos.

Symbols of Presencio

The flag and arms of Presencio are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 December 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 26 January 2007 by the Mayor, and published on 19 February 2007 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 35, p. 3,504 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag (1:1), bicolor, the upper half white and the lower half gold or yellow, the municipal coat of arms in the middle.
Coat of arms: Per chevron, 1. Argent a lion rampant purpure armed langued and crowned or, 2. Or an eagle sable. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
