The flag and arms of Santovenia de Pisuerga are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 30 September 1998 by the Valladolid Provincial Government, signed on 2 October 1998 by the President of the Government, and published on 21 October 1998 in the official gazette of Castile and León, No. 202 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag, with proportions 1:1, made of a white panel with a wavy blue stripe running from the lower hoist to the upper fly and a red lion in each white triangle.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a lion rampant gules crowned or, 2. Argent a lion rampant gules crowned or. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
