It is a fairly typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white background (village rank).

The arms are Azure a parassol pine Or eradicated of the Same between a heart Argent at dexter and a rose Or barbed Vert and seeded Gules and on a base wavy Argent a barrulet Azure wavy. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank)(commune rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "AMOR - LEIRIA".
Meaning:
The word " amor" " means " love" , which is represented on the arms by the white heart.

Amor Commune is one of the 18 communes of Leiria Municipality (q.v.); it had 4738 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 18,13 km².
