The arms are Or a lion rampant Gules, in chief a bunch of grapes Purpure leaved Vert between two cogwheels Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "BOIM"<

Boim Commune was one of the 25 pre-2013 communes of Lousada Municipality (q.v.); it had 2262 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 3,65 km².
