“The Clean Texas Marina Program is a partnership among the Marina Association of Texas, Texas Sea Grant College Program, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD). This program enables marinas to be recognized for their efforts in environmental responsibility. It also lets boaters identify those marinas that promote clean activities and follow best management practices. Participation is voluntary and shows a marina's commitment to keeping Texas boating areas safe and clean.”

Interestingly, “pledged marinas” are marinas in the process of becoming certified marinas, a preliminary stadium in other words. They seek certification and have already pledged themselves to introduce and implement appropriate measures.

A blue rim bearing white words “CLEAN” (top) and “MARINA” (bottom)- separated by three blue waves on each side of that rim - encloses a map of Texas (in blue outline) on which an anchor is diagonally placed, flukes towards lower right. An effect perhaps present in the logo only is that of depth as the words and waves seem stamped onto the rim.

The official site lists two sorts of flags (the manual only mentions a “burgee”): “Clean Texas Marina Flag Rectangular-shaped. $50.00 each” and “Clean Texas Marina Flag Pennant-shaped. $50.00 each”.

Caption: “Clean Texas Marina flag presentation at Bluff Creek Marina on Possum Kingdom Lake.” I suppose the field is white and the logo blue. No “stamp” effect as far as I can see.
